With the 2016 NFL Draft now a thing of the past, teams across the league have seen their odds of winning Super Bowl 51 altered because of the success or failures of their respective drafts. While it’s true that no one really knows right now exactly how much of an impact each team’s rookie draft picks will have on the upcoming campaign, the fact of the matter is that some teams first-year players will have more of an opportunity to do so than others.

This expert look at the teams with the most improved post-draft Super Bowl odds will give you a great idea of just how much each team’s first-year players will impact their coming seasons. Now, let’s get started.

Teams With Most-Improved Post-Draft Super Bowl Odds

Before I get started…let me just advise you to make sure you’re sitting down. Why? Because, believe it or not, the lowly Cleveland Browns are the No. 1 team in the league as far as post-draft Super Bowl 51 odds are concerned!

After trading the No. 2 overall pick and making several other draft-day moves, the Browns ended up with a plethora of talented rookies that all will likely have a chance of making an impact in Hue Jackson’s first season in Cleveland. Cleveland managed to nab gifted Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman, Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, Penn State defensive tackle Carl Nassib, Auburn tackle Shon Coleman and USC signal-caller Cody Kessler among others.

While the Browns’ odds jumped from 150-to-1 to 100-to-1, they remain at the bottom of the league’s Super Bowl 51 futures odds. Post-draft, a dozen teams saw no change at all in their odds. They are…Green Bay, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Kansas City, Atlanta, Buffalo, Chicago, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami, Jacksonville and Tennessee.

11 teams saw their odds improve, starting with the aforementioned Browns an followed by the Jets, Washington, Giants, Raiders, Ravens, Bengals, Colts, Seahawks, Cardinals, and Patriots. In the case of the Patriots, New England’s odds improved despite Tom Brady now facing a four-game suspension (again) for his role in Deflategate.

Last but not least, nine teams saw their odds get worse. In short order, they are, Carolina, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Detroit, New Orleans, San Diego, Tampa Bay and San Francisco. Here is a look at the complete list of pre and post-draft NFL futures odds to win Super Bowl 51.
