With a little over two weeks to go before the opening of NFL training camps, we are in a position where we can start to seriously talk about the upcoming season. The rosters are basically set at this point and it’s now just a matter of seeing if teams can get through training camp and the preseason without picking up any major injuries. We are still jumping in early and starting to make some predictions in regards wins and losses by individual teams. The Tennessee Titans seem to have their window of opportunity to win a championship still sitting wide open, it’s time to take a look at how things might play out this coming season so you can plan your bets against their NFL Team Totals odds.
Tennessee Titans Win/Loss Betting Odds and Prediction for the 2021-22 Season
Titans Divisional and Playoff Chances
The Tennessee Titans made one of the biggest moves of the offseason by going out and getting Julio Jones from the Atlanta Falcons. That means that they now have one of the best receivers in the league alongside one of the best running backs in the league in Derrick Henry. They look to be stronger than they were last season, when they managed to put together an 11-5 record, which was good enough to win them the AFC South. With the Texans and Jaguars expected to struggle this season, it looks as though the division will be a 2-horse race between the Titans and the Colts.
The bookies would appear to agree with this assertion, as they have both of those teams in at +110 to win the South this coming season. Winning the conference is going to be a much bigger task for Tennessee, but you have to say that they look like pretty good value at +1200, especially since they are just a couple of seasons removed from a trip to the Conference Final.
Titans 2021 Schedule and Win Total
They open up the season with a tricky game against the Arizona Cardinals, a team that many are looking at as a real dark horse this coming season. While there appears to be a couple of easier games for the Titans in the opening couple of months, they also have outings against the Bills, Chiefs, Rams, and Saints as they head into Week 10. Their bye week comes in Week 13, and if they can get there at 8-4, they should be in good shape.
There are some tough games after the bye week, too, with the Steelers and 49ers on tap, but it is still a much more manageable run that what they have to face in the earlier part of the season. It is going to be their 2 games against the Colts that might well serve as the deciders in the division, so keep an eye on those if you are thinking of taking the Tennessee Titans to repeat as champions of the AFC South. I think they have a solid chance of doing just that.
Right now, the bookies have the Over/Under on the Titans win total set at 9 ½. As tough as their schedule is in place, I think this team can match their win total from last season, which would mean 11 wins. I am looking at the OVER with the Titans.
I have read enough, I need to place my bet now. What to do?
