2024 PGA RBC Heritage Odds and Betting Picks

The Heritage Classic will take place this weekend from Hilton Head Island in South Carolina. This has been the event following the Masters for the last 55 years. The Masters was won last weekend by Scottie Scheffler, who is part of this event. Harbour Town Golf Links is the course for this event. The 7,191-yard, par 71 course was established in 1969. The winner a season ago was Matthew Fitzpatrick. Webb Simpson holds the course record at -22 back in 2020.

Betting Analysis for 2024 RBC Heritage Odds and Pick | MyBookie PGA Betting Preview of the Golf Tournament

2024 RBC Heritage | 55th edition of the Heritage Classic
PGA Tour tournament
Thursday, April 18th – Sunday, April 21st, 2024
Harbour Town Golf, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
2023 PGA Winner: Matt Fitzpatrick

Scottie Scheffler +400

There was talk that Scheffler would not partake in this event, but as of now he is in the event, and the favorite. Scheffler won the Masters despite not playing his best golf. He ended up shooting a 68 on the final day. It was his third win of the season, and he already has 8 Top 10 finishes. Scheffler has a pregnant wife that is due this month, so there is always a chance he does not finish the weekend.

PGA Odds: Scottie Scheffler +400 | PGA Tour Live Betting MyBookie Betting Lines for the Golf Tournament

Xander Schauffele +1000

It was another nice weekend for Schauffele. He finished in eight place at the Masters. That came despite a poor final round. He shot +1 on Sunday. He could not put things together to make a run. He had four birdies on the round, but combined that with five bogies. Schauffele has been one of the most consistent players on the tour with 7 Top 10 finishes and has made the cut nine straight times.

Rory Mcllroy +1200

Another guy with 9 for 9 cuts this season is Rory Mcllory. He got third at the Valero Texas Open, and went for 22nd place at the Masters. His first and third rounds were solid, at 71, but Friday was not great. Rory was lucky to make the cut, as he finished with a 77. This was his 10th time trying to complete the career grand slam. He is only missing the Masters. Rory comes into this event third in the betting odds, at 12/1.

Ludvig Aberg +1200

If you are not used to seeing Aberg at the top of the leaderboard, now is the time to get used to it. The youngster was solid all weekend, finishing with a final round 69 on Sunday. He finished runner up at the Masters to Scheffler. There will be many more chances this season, and Aberg is going to win a big one. He is 9 for 9 in cuts and has four Top 10 finishes already this season.

Ludvig Aberg

Patrick Cantlay +1400

Cantlay rounds out the Top five at this event. This is a really good event, with a guy like Cantlay is fifth in betting odds. Cantlay is another guy that has been a machine at making cuts. He is 8 for 8 this season. He is coming off a 22nd place finish at the Masters. He would like to have Sunday back, as he was not sharp with a 76. His 75 on Friday also was not ideal, but Thursday and Saturday were solid. Cantlay has been a mixed back this season, and many wonder if there is an injury.

Wells Fargo Championship | May 9 – May 12

While it is hard to bet against Scottie Scheffler, we worry about his focus in this event. With a pregnant wife, and the Masters under his belt, we are going to take Ludvig Aberg to win this event. At 12/1, we like his focus and demeanor enough. We hope you enjoy the event and best of luck with all your golf betting!

Golf fans will be treated to a double dose of PGA Tour action this week, with the prestigious RBC Heritage taking center stage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina, while the Corales Puntacana Championship unfolds simultaneously in the Dominican Republic, creating a logistical nightmare for some players and a strategic decision-making point for others in terms of where to compete for valuable points and prize money.

Previous Betting News

The 2023 Masters Tournament has come and gone, with Jon Rahm getting the coveted green jacket for the first time in his career. The season’s first major championship didn’t really live up to the pre-tournament hype with expected tensions between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf players, but it was a great weekend of golf nonetheless.

Now, we move on to the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina. The tournament after The Masters normally wouldn’t have great attendance from the game’s top stars, but this year the Heritage is a designated event with a $20 million prize purse. In fact, 27 of the top 30 players in the Official World Golf Rankings have committed to playing in South Carolina this year.

Check out MyBookie’s PGA betting odds for the RBC Heritage golf tournament.

The Favorites – Scheffler (+900) and Rahm (+900)

It’s not surprising that Scheffler and Rahm share the distinction as the tournament betting favorites. They’ve been the two most dominant players on Tour this season and are seemingly battling head-to-head for titles every week this season. Rahm already has four victories this season, and Scheffler won the PLAYERS and Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Rahm has only played once at Harbor Town in the last five years, finishing T33 in 2020. Scheffler, meanwhile, Scheffler has never played at the South Carolina course. Given both players inexperience at the course, this could be a good weekend to fade the favorites and look for better value elsewhere.

The Smart Pick – Cameron Young (+2500)

Cameron Young was never really in contention at the Masters, but he was in the conversation the entire tournament before eventually finishing T7 with a 6-under par. Young had a disappointing result at the PLAYERS, but the 2022 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year now has three top-10 finishes this year and looks poised to win his second career event.

Young finished T3 at Harbor Town last season and, among all players competing this weekend, has the second-best true shots gained (+2.62) at the course, according to datagolf.com.

Longshot Pick – Sahith Theegala +6600

Sahith Theegala was T70 at Harbor Town last year in his debut at the RBC Heritage. He’s become one of the most exciting and improved golfers on the planet in the last year, however. His Tiger Woods-like chip-in on No. 16 at Augusta on Sunday provided a glimpse of what he’s capable of.

Theegala finished in ninth at 5-under at the Masters. He was T14 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational in early March and finished T6 at the Genesis Open the week prior. He also has a top-five finish at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Previous Betting News

With the Masters in the rearview, the PGA Tour jets over to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage at the Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head. The 2022 tournament is the 54th version of the Heritage, which begins play on Thursday, April 14th, and concludes on Sunday, April 17th. The field will be stout with numerous players that played at Augusta set to tee it up.

Stewart Cink returns to defend his title after picking up one of his two victories on Tour last season here. Cink rolled to a four-shot victory over Harold Varner III and Emiliano Grillo for his third victory at this tournament.

The winner of the event receives 500 FedEx Cup points and $1.44 million of the $8 million purse. There have been ten players in the event’s history that have won this tournament multiple times. Let’s take a look at some of the PGA Tour Betting favorites heading into the RBC Heritage and the top names in the field.

Golf Betting Preview for 2022 PGA Tour RBC Heritage

The Course

The Harbour Town Golf Links opened its doors in 1967 and has hosted the RBC Heritage every year since 1969. The Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus design is a par-71 that plays approximately 7,120 yards.

Known for its tight fairways, strategically placed bunkers, and small greens, Harbour Town presents a stiff test for those players coming from Augusta National.

The Field

RBC Heritage is one of five events on the PGA schedule with invitational status. The field is reduced to 132 players, and there is no Monday qualifying for the event.

Five of the top 10 players in the world are expected to showcase their talent at the RBC Heritage this week. Those five players include Cameron Smith, Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Dustin Johnson, and Collin Morikawa.

Jordan Spieth and Rickie Fowler are back in action this week. Spieth is coming off his first career missed cut at Agusta. Fowler continues to try and regain his form after missed cuts in four of his last seven events.

A handful of Ryder Cup participants are in the field include Daniel Berger, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Ian Poulter, and Shane Lowery. Future Ryder Cup captains Zach Johnson and Henrik Stenson will be in action.

Morgan Hoffmann, once a decorated amateur player, returns to the PGA Tour for the first time since 2019. Hoffmann was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy and has been out on a major medical extension since. The 32-year-old has three starts left on his medical extension.

Betting Odds

Length off the tee is a non-factor at Harbour Town as ball-striking is the emphasis. With narrow fairways and strategic hazards, accuracy off the tee is crucial.

Elite ball-strikers litter the top of the betting board heading into Thursday’s tee times. Thomas (+900) is the pre-tournament favorite.

Following Thomas is Morikawa (+1400), Cantlay (+1400), and Smith (+1600). All four players at the top made the cut last week at the Masters, with Cantlay (T39) the worst finisher.

If you are targeting value plays, the ball-striking of Kevin Na (+4500) and Harold Varner III (+6500) can’t be overlooked. Defending champion Cink can be grabbed at a bargain of +13000.

PGA Tour: Rundown of the 2021 RBC Heritage – Golf Betting

Previous Betting News

For the second time this season, 47-year-old Stewart Cink is improbably in the winner’s circle! 115th in the Official Golf World Rankings, the Alabama native won the 2021 RBC Heritage over a fairly loaded field that included world No. 1 Dustin Johnson and world No. 4 Collin Morikawa. Let’s check out a recap of what went down in the 2021 RB Heritage so you can continue betting against their Golf odds.

Golf Betting News – Cink Turns Back Hands of Time to Win 2021 PGA RBC Heritage

Old guys unite!

Cink won the RBC Heritage for the third time in his career by four strokes over Harold Varner II and Emiliano Grillo. The win meant the world to Cink because of his contingent of family present at the event.

Cink hugged son Reagan, his caddie, after bagging a clean par on the lighthouse-framed 18th hole. Wife Lisa, their other son, Connor, and his fiancee, Jess Baker, were in the gallery cheering Cink’s second win this season.

“To have a posse like that waiting at the end to celebrate with,” Cink said, “it’s just an experience you don’t get to have in your life that often.”

In 15 events this season, Cink has recorded seven Top-25 finishes, three Top-0 finishes and the two aforementioned wins after claiming the season-opening Safeway Open in September. The Cinks had their arms around each other to celebrate.

“I don’t even know if I have the words,” Stewart Cink said.

Fresh off an impressive tie for 12th last week at the Masters Tournament, Cink managed to win $1.278 million while earning an exemption into the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines in June. It will be the first U.S. Open since 2017 for the former Open Championship winner.

Cink became the fourth player to win twice in the same PGA TOUR season after turning 47. Sam Snead, Julius Boros and Kenny Perry, who accomplished it twice, are the others. Cink took immediate command of the event right away by shooting 16-under 126 in the first two rounds. Cink’s performance shattered the lowest 36-hole score at Harbour Town of 13-under 129 shared by Jack Nicklaus and Phil Mickelson. Cink added a 69 on Saturday to best Justin Leonard’s 54-hole score by two strokes in 2002.

Cink carried a five-shot lead into the final round and made 17 birdies and two eagles the first three rounds. He had only two birdies Sunday, but that was more than enough to claim his eighth career victory.

“I really felt I had the kind of stuff that was going to be very hard to beat,” he said.

He was downright impossible to chase down after his blazing hot start on Thursday and Friday.

“What’s so amazing is this kind of rebirth that Stewart is experiencing at such an older age,” Lisa Cink said. “I’m just in awe of how well he’s playing at this time in his career.”

Previous Betting News

With the 2021 Masters Championships now a thing of the past, it’s time to look ahead on the PGA Tour. One week after Japanese star Hideki Matsuyama took his first career green jacket, the PGA Tour heads to Hilton Head, South Carolina for the 2021 RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This annual star-studded event tees off Thursday, April 15. Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming event so you can bet against their Golf odds.

PGA Tour Betting Predictions – RBC Heritage Early Preview

Odds to Win 2021 RBC Heritage

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson is the prohibitive favorite at +1000 while defending champion and 2013 runner-up Webb Simpson is next at +1200. A year ago, now ninth in the Official Golf World Rankings (OGWR), Simpson overcame a three-hour weather delay last year to record five birdies in six holes on the back nine on the final day to get the one shot win over Abraham Ancer.

“It was a crazy day,” Simpson said of his final round a year ago. “I didn’t get it going until the 12th and then the putts started going in and I started getting confident. It’s amazing to be standing here right now.”

Simpson finished a solid T12 in the Masters and has recorded four straight Top-16 finishes in this event, including last year’s victory.

World No. 10 Patrick Cantlay is third on the odds leaderboard despite missing the cut in two of his last three outings, including at the recently completed Masters. 24-year-old world No. 4 Collin Morikawa comes into this tournament fresh off a solid T18 finish in the Masters after winning the WGC-Dell Technologies Workday Championship on Feb. 28.

28-year-old Floridian Daniel Berger is 16th in the OGWR and should be hungry after having his four tournament run of Top-35 finishes snapped by missing the cut at this past weekend’s Masters.

A player to really keep an eye on this coming weekend is a player that made my pick at the 2021 Masters look phenomenal. 27th in the OGWR, 24-year-old Californian Will Zalatoris was phenomenal in finishing second in his Masters debut. Zalatoris has recorded six straight finishes of T28 or better and has the kind of game to win anywhere.

Previous Betting News

While it’s great to see sports begin to return after the pandemic, it is also interesting to see how players and teams will come out of the layoff. There are going to be some who come back strong, while others might need some time to shake off the rust. After the opening day of the Charles Schwab PGA event, it looks as though most of the bigger name players are having a bit of a tough go of things. That could level out over the course of the weekend, and it may even carry over into next week, when the best players in the world will head to the Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head for the RBC Heritage. This tournament, which is usually held in mid-April, has a $7.1 million purse, which is pulling in all the big names. The top 5 ranked players in the world will be there, but who will win? Let’s take a closer look at the favorites so you can make your bets against their PGA odds.

PGA Tour RBC Heritage

Rory McIlroy

The top ranked player in the world is on the course at the Charles Schwab as I write this. After a slow start, he is going well in the second round and is now just 4 strokes off the lead. This is not particularly surprising when you consider that the Irishman was on an absolute tear at the start of the 2020 season. McIlroy was on a run of 6 consecutive top 5 finishes before the PGA suspended operations, so there is every reason to believe that he will bounce back quickly and get right back to where he was before all this craziness began.

Brooks Koepka

Over the past few years, no player has been more dominant in big events that Brooks Koepka. Between 2017 and 2019, he won a pair of US Open titles, as well as 2 PGA Championship crowns. While Koepka seems to save his best for the big occasion, he is a threat in any competition that he plays in. He did see the 2020 season get off to a rough start, so he is one player that may have welcomed the break. It is going to be interesting to see if he can shake that slow start and get back to challenging at the top of the leaderboard.

Jon Rahm

The Spaniard is one of the more popular players on the PGA Tour, but besides being a well-liked guy, he is also one of the best players in the world. While Rahm is a solid bet to land in the top 10 in every tournament that he plays in, he is not one that is a very good win bet. Rahm has forged his way toward the top of the world rankings despite only ever winning 3 times on the tour. That speaks to his amazing level of consistency, but it also makes it a little tougher to bet on him to win, especially when the field is as strong as it will be next weekend.

Justin Thomas

Currently sitting in the #2 spot in the FedEx Cup standings, Thomas is playing some of the best golf of his career. As I write, he is playing some great golf in his return from the lockdown. He is currently 4th on the leaderboard at the Charles Schwab, just 2 strokes out of the lead. The fact that he has been able to get right back into the swing of things so quickly suggests that he might well be worth a look next weekend. I am taking a shot and going with Thomas to win the RBC Heritage.

2019 RBC Heritage Open Odds, Picks & Betting Predictions

Previous Betting News

After correctly predicting Tiger Woods to win last week’s Masters in the MYBookie sports betting news section, I am back with another handful of insightful picks on this week’s 2019 RBC Heritage Open.

2019 RBC Heritage Open Odds, Picks & Betting Predictions

When: April 15-21, 2017
Where: Harbour Town Golf Links, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, United States
Purse: $6,900,000
Defending Champion: Satoshi Kodaira

With five of the top 15 players in the world teeing it up at Harbour Town Golf Links on Thursday, let’s take a look at some of the Golf betting odds on the board before I offer up my top five picks to find their way into the winner’s circle on Sunday.

World No. 1 Dustin Johnson is the prohibitive favorite at 15-2, with Francesco Molinari the No. 2 pick (15-1). Young phenom Bryson DeChambeau (19-1) and Xander Schauffele (19-1) are tied for the third best odds at an identical 19-1.

Past Winners

Odds to Win 2019 RBC Heritage Open

Top Five Picks

Ian Poulter

43-year-old veteran Ian Poulter has made the cut in all nine events he’s played this season while recording seven Top 25 finishes and two Top 10 finishes including a T3 at the WGC-Mexico Championship in February. Poulter also finished T17 at the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play event to close out March, but that’s not what makes me think he can win this event. No…for me, it was Poluter’s fine, 12th place finish at the Masters this past weekend that leads me to believe he’s super confident coming into this event and a real threat to all of the top favorites. Poulter finished T7 in this event a year ago and I like him to challenge!

Jim Furyk

So what Jim Furyk is just two years shy of the Big 5-0…I say he’s got a great chance to claim the hardware in the 2019 RBC Heritage Open. First and foremost, Furyk has won this event twice (2010, 2015) in his career. Not only that, but the 2003 U.S. Open winner has clearly been revitalized recently. Furyk has made eight of 10 cuts this season, while recording seven Top 25 finishes and three Top 10 finishes including a fantastic second place finish at The PLAYERS Championship in mid-March. I’m thinking Furyk has a chance and a really good one at that!

Dustin Johnson

The World No. 1 might still be stuck on one major (2016 U.S. Open), but he’s super gifted and looking good as he comes into this event off a spectacular T2 at last week’s Masters. Johnson has made the cut in all nine events he’s played this season while recording six Top 25 finishes and six Top 10 finishes. Johnson won the WGC-Mexico Championship and has a trio of Top 6 finishes in his last four events. If Johnson is hungry (he will be) he’ll definitely challenge for the win, just based on his immense talent level alone.

Xander Schauffele

I love the way the 25-year-old Schauffele played in last week’s Masters where he finished T2. Not only that, but this gifted golfer has made the cut 10 times in 11 events this season while recording a mind-boggling nine Top 25 finishes, four Top 10 finishes and a pair of victories at the WGC-HSBC Champions event in October and another win in the Sentry Tournament of Champions in January. Schauffele will make his second appearance at Harbour Town after finishing T32 last year and I’m expecting him to challenge for the outright win.

Patrick Cantlay

The 27-year-old Cantlay has made the cut eight times in 10 events this season while recording eight Top 25 finishes and five Top 10 finishes, including a second place finish in the Shriners Hospital for Children Open in November. Cantlay has a pair of Top 10 finishes in his last four events including a statement-making ninth place finish at last week’s Masters. Not only that, but Cantlay also finished T7 and T3 in each of the past two years in this event, making him my top pick to pull off the ‘upset’ win as a value-packed 24-1 pick!

RBC Heritage Classic Golf Preview And Predictions

Previous Betting News

I know the first PGA golf tournament succeeding the prestigious Masters, feels a bit anti-climatic coming on the heels of the highly coveted first major of the year, but there’s still money to be made by betting on the 2017 RBC Heritage Classic.

The first PGA Tournament following the 2017 Masters gets underway on Thursday, April 13 at the beautiful Harbor Town Golf Links in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. As is always the case, the field for this year’s RBC Heritage Classic has another field of world-class title contenders that will be going all-out to pick up a win in sunny South Carolina. Now, let’s get down to business with these golf betting picks.

A Closer Look At The RBC Heritage Classic Golf Preview And Predictions

When: April 13-16, 2017
Where: Harbor Town Golf Links, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina Format: 72 holes – Stroke Play Purse: $6,500,000 Defending Champion: Branden Grace TV Coverage: Golf Channel, CBS Thursday-Friday, 3-6 p.m. ET – Golf Channel. Saturday-Sunday, 1-2:30 p.m. Golf Channel, 3-6 p.m. – CBS.

The Course

Harbour Town Golf Links is a par-71 course whose total length is 7,099 yards. The Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus co-designed course remains one of the best ever designed by either golfing legend and features both, shapely greens and narrow fairways.

A Look Back

Last year, Branden Grace drained five birdies to shoot a blistering 66 in the final round and come from three shots back to earn his first victory on the PGA Tour while beating out Luke Donald by two strokes.

Veteran golfer Jim Furyk won for the second time in 2015 after bagging the 2010 RB Heritage title while Matt Kuchar won in 2014. Graeme McDowell (2013, Carl Pettersson (2012) and Brandt Snedeker (2011) have bagged the other RBC Heritage Classic titles since the start of this decade.

This year’s field will feature Grace, Furyk, Snedeker and Kuchar as well as numerous other PGA Tour winners.

Here is a look at the odds of the top contenders.

2017 RBC Heritage Classic Odds

Analysis: For me, my top pick to win the 2017 RBC Heritage Classic goes to the favored Matt Kuchar after he was my No. 2 pick to win last week’s Masters and finished tied for fourth at 5-under.

Kuchar shot a closing round 67 at Augusta National and nailed a hole-in-one on the 16th hole. Kuchar has finished in the Top 10 in each of last two years and has a whopping five, top-10 finishes at the RBC Heritage Classic in his career.

y second selection to nab the 2017 RBC Heritage hardware is a pick for Charley Hoffman seeing as how he finished 14th at 2-under in last year’s event – and will likely be seriously determined to bounce back from last week’s collapse at the Masters. Hoffman recorded the largest first round lead at the first major of the year in over six decades by leading by a whopping four shots after the first round. Hoffman shot a three over 75 in the second round, a par-72 in the third round and a closing round 78 to finish tied for 22nd.

For my longshot pick, I’m going with five-time Heritage winner Davis Love III. I know he’s 52-years-old now and has only won one tournament since the start of this decade, but that was only two years ago when he bagged the 2016 Wyndham Championship by one stroke over Jason Gore.

I know his chances of winning are not nearly as good as they once were when he was in his prime, but hell, at +15000, I think he may be worth a ‘what the hell’ kind of wager.

Picks: Matt Kuchar, Charley Hoffman, Davis Love III

Previous Betting News

Although the name has changed several times over the years, the Heritage Classic has been a PGA Tour event since 1969. Currently known as the RBC Heritage, the quickly approaching 2016 event looks like a great opportunity for golf betting aficionados everywhere to cash in with a winning wager just one week after last weekend’s memorable Masters major.

Better yet, you’re going to have a great opportunity to do just that as I highlight the golf betting favorites to bag this year’s RBC Heritage Plaid Jacket.

PGA RBC Heritage Golf Betting Preview – Cash in On Longstanding PGA Event!

The RBC Heritage is played at the Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina on a course designed by Pete Dye. It has been labeled as one of the best golf courses in all of America by numerous golf publications and golfers and remains one of the top events for PGA Tour players that get an invitation to play. Now, let’s take a look at the course’s information, the current odds and a glimpse at some of the past winners.

Analysis: Okay golf betting enthusiasts, the first thing you need to know about the RBC Heritage is that it is a ‘polar-opposite’ course to lat week’s highly coveted Master’s. While the most prestigious golf tournament in the world favors hitters that can accurately drive their ball great distances, the RBC Heritage is a much shorter curse that places a premium on accuracy and consistency over sheer distance.

Pete Dye’s design demands that every shot is a thoughtful attempt. Players that want to be successful will need to be accurate off the tee and hit the right side of fairways as often as possible. Just know that this is a tough feat as only one player hit upwards of 80 percent of greens last year. Having said that, golfers that are great short ball strikers and putters will have the best chance to bag this longstanding title. Okay, here are my top five picks to win the 2016 RBC Heritage.

My Top Five Picks

Jason Day

I picked Day to win the Master’s last week and while he didn’t have a legitimate chance of doing so, he wasn’t all that bad either as he finished tied for 10th. The good news is that Day won consecutive tournaments just prior to the Master’s and should have plenty of confidence coming into this tourney. Giving Day a great opportunity here is the fact that he won the PGA Championship and the WGC-Dell Match Play on Pete Dye designed courses. Day will make his first trip to Hilton Head in three years looking to improve on his best ninth place finish in 2011.

Paul Casey

Casey finished T-4 at the Masters and has the kind of accurate game off the tee that makes a lot of sense for Harbour Town. Casey has been on fire recently, recording three Top 10 finishes in a row.

Brandt Snedeker

Snedeker finished tied for 10th at the Masters just one tournament after finishing tied for 17th at the WGC-Dell Match Play. Snedeker bagged the RBC Heritage title in 2011 and I think it’s possible the Nashville native could do so again!

Matt Kuchar

I know Kuchar finished a decent T-24 at the Masters after finishing T-17 at the WGC Match Play, but he’s won here before, (2014) while finishing fifth in his title defense lat year. The 37-year-old has not missed a cut at Harbor Town in 13 years to go with five top-25 finishes. Kuchar’s best finish this season is a T-8 at the Northern Trust Open in February for one of just of two top-10 finishes at official PGA Tour events this season. However, his modest results so far could very well spur him to reach greater heights in one of his favorite tour events.

Matt Fitzpatrick

The 21-year-old from Sheffield, England finished T-24 here as an amateur in 2014 and an impressive T-7 at the Masters last week while hitting a ton of GIRs. Fitzpatrick is a great dark horse pick whose game fits the RBC course very well.

Other Contenders

Luke Donald

Donald has recorded four top-15s here in the last five years, including three medal-stand finishes.

Charley Hoffman

Hoffman has a pair of top-8 finishes here in the last five years (2012, 2013) and hasn’t missed a PGA Tour cut since January.

Scott Brown

Brown has racked up three Top 10 finishes in his last four events and claimed a fifth place finish here in 2014.
