2021 Grammy Awards Odds Update Dec. 16th Edition

The first major awards event of 2021 happens next month on January 31. The Strokes, Roddy Ricch, Taylor Swift, Post Malone, and, yes, Fiona Apple are nominated. Check out Grammy Awards odds, analysis, and free picks for eight of the most important awards at the 2021 Grammys!

Entertainment Betting News: 2021 Grammy Awards Odds Update

2021 Grammy Awards

  • When: Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021

Best Rap Song

  • Savage – Megan Thee Stallion ft. Beyonce -110
  • Rockstar – DaBaby ft. Roddy Ricch +300
  • The Box – Roddy Ricch +550
  • The Bigger Picture – Lil Baby +600
  • Laugh Now, Cry Later – Drake ft. Lil Durk +700

All five nominees deserve credit. The Bigger Picture by Lil Baby is the most heart-felt, and for that, it could grab the award. But it will be very difficult to deny Megan Thee Stallion. Savage is a work of art, a blisteringly fast-paced poetry explosion that talks about internal power. Megan takes it.

Grammy Award Prediction: Savage – Megan Thee Stallion ft. Beyonce

Best Rock Album

  • The New Abnormal – The Strokes +100
  • Kiwanuka – Michael Kiwanuka +250
  • Daylight – Grace Potter +500
  • Sound & Fury – Sturgill Simpson +700
  • A Hero’s Death – Fontaines D.C. +800

The Strokes made a nice album. But there’s nothing new there. Still, they’ll be difficult to beat, like always. Kiwanuka made an awesome album. So did Fontaines D.C. and Sturgill Simpson. The most interesting of the nominees, though, is Grace Potter. Daylight is great from beginning to end. We’re taking a shot on the underdog.

Grammy Award Prediction: Daylight – Grace Potter

Best Rock Song

  • Kyoto – Phoebe Bridgers +150
  • Lost in Yesterday – Tame Impala +200
  • Shameika – Fiona Apple +500
  • Not – Big Thief +500
  • Stay High – Brittany Howard +650

It will be difficult for the academy to shun Fiona Apple. Her return is the biggest news in music. But Apple’s nominated song, Shameika, may not get her the award. Kyoto, by Phoebe Bridgers, is a song that stays in your mind. Per Bridgers, it’s a song about imposter syndrome. Even though it’s difficult to know exactly what Phoebe means by that, Kyoto works. It should win on January 31.

Grammy Award Prediction: Kyoto – Phoebe Bridgers

Album of the Year

  • Folklore – Taylor Swift -260
  • Future Nostalgia – Dua Lipa +300
  • Hollywood’s Bleeding – Post Malone +600
  • Everyday Life – Coldplay +1000
  • Black Pumas (Deluxe Edition) +2000
  • Chilombo – Jhene Aiko +2000
  • Djesse vol. 3 – Jacob Collier +2000
  • Women in Music Pt. III – Haim +2000

Folklore, Swift’s album, will win. The Grammys love Taylor Swift. Most of us know that by now, which is why the odds on Taylor’s latest is at -260. If you believe in Lipa, and, maybe you should, +300 are decent odds. Nobody else on the list has much of a shot.

Grammy Award Prediction: Folklore – Taylor Swift

Record of the Year

  • Don’t Stop Now – Dua Lipa -280
  • Savage – Megan Thee Stallion Featuring Beyonce +300
  • Black Parade – Beyonce +800
  • Everything I Wanted – Billie Elish +1000
  • Circles – Post Malone +1200
  • DaBaby Featuring Roddy Ricch +1400
  • Doja Cat +1400
  • Colors – Black Pumas +2500

The Grammy Awards will reward Megan Thee Stallion with the hardware for Best Rap Song. They’ll give Taylor Swift the award for Album of the Year. That leaves Dua Lipa to take home Record of the Year for Don’t Stop Now.

Grammy Award Prediction: Dua Lipa

Best New Artist

  • Megan Thee Stallion -700
  • Phoebe Bridgers +575
  • Doja Cat +600
  • Ingrid Andress +1500
  • Kaytranada +1600
  • Noah Cyrus +1600
  • Smoke +2500
  • Chika +3000

-700 makes Megan an underlay, right? Not necessarily. Unlike a sporting event, the Grammy’s often follow suit with favorites winning more than their fair share. In this case, Megan Thee Stallion is likely an underlay at -700. She’ll take home the award, which will make it her second of the night after winning for Best Rap Song.

Grammy Award Prediction: Megan Thee Stallion

Song of the Year

  • Cardigan – Taylor Swift -125
  • Don’t Start Now – Dua Lipa +300
  • Black Parade – Beyonce +500
  • I Can’t Breathe – H.E.R. +700
  • Everything I Wanted – Billie Eilish +900
  • Circles – Post Malone +1000
  • The Box – Roddy Ricch +1200
  • If The World Was Ending – JP Saxe FT. J.Michaels +1800

Cardigan is a nice love song. Don’t Start Now is catchy. Both could win. We’re in Beyonce’s corner, though. The first three lines of Black Parade are “I’m goin’ back to the South. I’m goin’ back, back, back, back. Where my roots ain’t watered down.” Those are statement making lyrics.

Grammy Award Prediction: Black Parade – Beyonce

Best Pop Duo / Group Performance

  • Rain on Me (Lady Gaga ft. Ariana Grande) +150
  • Exile (Taylor Swift ft. Bon Iver) +200
  • Dynamite (BTS) +400
  • Intentions (Justin Beieber ft. Quavo) +700
  • Un Dia (One Day – J. Balvin, Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny) +900

It doesn’t seem possible that any group could beat Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, or Taylor Swift and Bon Iver, but BTS is the biggest thing in music right now. The only more popular group than the Korean boy band is possibly the Korean girl band Black Pink. BTS wins because, not unsurprisingly, their song Dynamite is a sweet ditty about being awesome. Why not let a smiling, handsome, cheery boy band from Korea help us put a stamp on the disaster that was 2020?

Grammy Award Prediction: Dynamite – BTS

The first time I had a withdrawal it took longer than what they claimed but they gave me some credit for my time. Since then they have been hitting their time windows of 24-48 hours to take from the account, and 24 hours for to get into my btc wallet. Their communication is a bit slower than wanted but their execution makes up for it.

MyBookie’s software and lines are in line with other books, but they really stand out with the promotions. They are more frequent and offer better deals than their competitors. I’ll never go back to another book.
