2024 MLB Weekend Parlay Picks for Week 11 of the Season | Beat the Odds! Parlay Bets for the MLB Regular Season

2024 MLB Season | 155th edition of professional baseball in United States
Week 11: Friday, June 14th – Sunday, June 16th, 2024

5 Team MLB Parlay with the Weekend Games

We’ve analyzed Week 11 matchups, considering hot streaks, pitching matchups, and key offensive threats to build a 5-team parlay poised for a big payout.

Five games from the weekend action where we can put in a parlay and let them ride. Here they are:

Atlanta Braves over Tampa Bay Rays

Friday June 14th, 2024

The first game of the parlay goes to an Atlanta team that continues to stumble more than a season ago.

Injuries have gotten the best of the Braves in 2024.

But, the Braves are still a talented team with plenty of chances to win games.

Chris Sale goes on Friday. He is one of the top strikeout guys in the league.

We like him to grab a home win over Tampa Bay on Friday and set the tone for a nice weekend.

The first pick in our parlay is the only game we are betting on Friday.

Take Atlanta over Tampa Bay.

Chicago Cubs over St. Louis Cardinals

Saturday June 15th, 2024

Two National League Central rivals.

The Cardinals won the two games they played last month.

Both teams have really struggled, along with the Pirates and Reds.

St. Louis is throwing Andre Pallante, who has been strong as a starter.

But, Shota Imanaga is on the hill for the Cubs.

Imanaga ran into a few issues, but overall has had a really strong season.

We like the Cubs to come away with a win on Saturday over the Cardinals.

Los Angeles Dodgers over Kansas City Royals

Saturday June 15th, 2024

Another Saturday game here.

The Royals have run into some tough scheduling with the Dodgers and Yankees.

Seth Lugo will go for the Royals. He has been really good, but ran into some tough luck in his last loss.

Now, he faces a Dodgers team with all sorts of bats.

In Los Angeles, we like the Dodgers to rough Lugo up and win this game.

The Dodgers are our third game on Saturday to include in our five team parlay.

Pittsburgh Pirates over Colorado Rockies

Sunday June 16th, 2024

Paul Skenes in Denver.

After his great start in St. Louis on Tuesday, he gets another chance to grab a win.

The Rockies offense has not been really strong, so this is a great shot for the rookie to move to 4-0.

He will face Dakota Hudson for the Rockies. Hudson has not had a good season in Denver.

We like Skenes to strike out 8+ again, and this time grab a win.

Take the Pirates over the Rockies on Sunday!

New York Yankees over Boston Red Sox

Sunday June 16th, 2024

Our final game of the weekend parlay features the New York Yankees beating the Boston Red Sox.

Rivalry game on Sunday Night Baseball.

We like Marcus Stroman and what he can do on the mound against the Red Sox.

He will face Kutter Crawford in this game.

The Yankees offense explodes and wins this game with ease.

Take the New York Yankees easily over the Boston Red Sox on Sunday.

2024 MLB Weekend Parlay Picks for Week 10 of the Season | Beat the Odds! Parlay Bets for the MLB Regular Season

2024 MLB Season | 155th edition of professional baseball in United States
Week 10: Friday, June 7th – Sunday, June 9th, 2024

Betting MLB Week 10

It’s time to take a look at the Major League Baseball slate for the weekend, and start putting together our parlay.

We will have a weekend parlay of all Major League Baseball games that includes five picks. Those picks are put together, and placed into what we hope is a winning parlay.

With a whirlwind of weekend matchups on deck, crafting a successful MLB parlay demands a strategic approach.

While factors like current form, team statistics, and pitching matchups are all important, understanding the reasoning behind free MLB parlay picks can be immensely valuable.

This analysis dives deep into the reasoning behind our picks, empowering you to make informed decisions for your own potential bets.

Here is our Major League Baseball weekend parlay picks:

Atlanta Braves over Washington Nationals

Chris Sale vs Jake Irvin

Friday June 7th, 2024 at 6:45 PM
Nationals Park

Chris Sale gets the start for the Atlanta Braves in this one.

The lefthander has been outstanding for Atlanta. He will take on Jake Irvin of Washington.

The Braves are going to be big favorites in this game, but this is one you can look and consider the runline for.

The Braves are going to win this one with relative ease. This is a great pick to start our five leg parlay, and our first of two for Friday night.

Take Atlanta over Washington.

Houston Astros over Los Angeles Angels

Framber Valdez vs Griffin Canning

Friday June 7th, 2024 at 9:38 PM
Angel Stadium

The Astros appear to be playing better baseball as of late.

This is still a team that has all the talent. The Astros will use Framber Valdez in this game against the Angels.

The Angels are the walking wounded, and continue to play poor baseball.

We like Valdez to kick them while they are down, and beat them Friday night.

Houston is our second parlay pick, and the final win of Friday to allow us to move to Saturday still alive.

Take the Astros.

St. Louis Cardinals over Colorado Rockies

Ryan Feltner vs Kyle Gibson

Saturday June 8th, 2024 at 4:15 PM
Busch Stadium

Kyle Gibson has been the most consistent St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher this season.

Gibson is making his 13th start, and is 4-2 on the season.

He has a 3.69 earned run average.

Gibson gets a chance to take on the Rockies, who continue to sit at the bottom of the National League standings.

Look for St. Louis to get their bats going at home against Ryan Feltner and the Rockies.

Take St. Louis as our lone pick in the parlay for Saturday!

Baltimore Orioles over Tampa Bay Rays

Corbin Burnes vs Zack Littell

Sunday June 9th, 2024 at 1:40 PM
Tropicana Field

Corbin Burnes will make his 14th start in this ame.

He is 6-2 on the season with a 2.26 earned run average.

He has struck out 76 batters in nearly 80 innings thrown. He gets the Tampa Bay Rays, who he has not faced yet this season.

Look for Burnes to come out strong, and throw well despite being on the road.

Tampa Bay, and their .236 team batting average struggles to get on base and move the ball, leading to a Baltimore win.

Los Angeles Dodgers over New York Yankees

Tyler Glasnow vs Luis Gil

Sunday June 9th, 2024 at 7:00 PM | ESPN
Yankee Stadium

Wow! What a matchup here.

The wise play may be to stay away from this game with two of the best teams in baseball meeting up.

But, we like the Dodgers here.

Tyler Glasnow has been the strikeout king of Major League Baseball so far this season.

We like him to bring his swing and miss stuff to Yankee Stadium for a Sunday Night Baseball win.

Luis Gil has been good, but will have to navigate through a loaded Los Angeles offense.

We are going to take the Dodgers to finish our parlay on Sunday Night Baseball.

Boston Red Sox over Detroit Tigers

Kenta Maeda vs Tanner Houck

Friday May 31st, 2024 at 4:07 PM | Apple TV+
Fenway Park

The first matchup we like in our five leg parlay is the Boston Red Sox at home on Friday. Tanner Houck will meet up against Reese Olson. This is the Apple TV+ game of the week.

Houck has strong stuff, and the Tigers are light hitters.

Boston is just a .500 team, but when they get a chance on the Tigers on Friday night, they look better than that.

Look for Boston to get some runs off Olson early, and Houck settles in with a solid performance.

Take Boston over Detroit on Friday!

Atlanta Braves over Oakland Athletics

JP Sears vs Reynaldo Lopez

Friday May 31st, 2024 at 4:07 PM
Truist Park

Lefthander Chris Sale has been lights out for the Atlanta Braves. This game on Friday pits him against JP Sears and the Oakland Athletics.

The Athletics were not very good during the month of May. This is their finale for the month.

Look for Sale to continue to cruise through the 2024 season. He is going to put himself into National League Cy Young consideration if he keeps this up.

Take Atlanta over Oakland on Friday!

Chicago White Sox over Milwaukee Brewers

Garrett Crochet vs Robert Gasser

Saturday June 1st, 2024 at 4:07 PM
American Family Field

A little rare to be taking one of the worst teams in all of Major League Baseball over a divisional leader. We like the pitching matchup for the White Sox here.

Garrett Crochet has been a bright spot for a dismal White Sox team. He is going up against Robert Gasser of the Brewers.

We like the Cubs White Sox to get to Gasser a little, but in the end, this pitch is for the White Sox pitching.

We like the upset on Saturday, as the White Sox top the Brewers in Milwaukee.

Cincinnati Reds over Chicago Cubs

Nick Lodolo vs Ben Brown

Sunday June 2nd, 2024 at 4:07 PM
Wrigley Field

The Cubs have been scuffling, especially on the offensive side. The Reds are playing better baseball. Cincinnati came off a sweep over the Dodgers.

Nick Lodolo will get the nod for the Reds. He was sharp in his first game back from injury against St. Louis.

Paul Goldschmidt touched him up with the longball, but outside of that, he was sharp.

We like him to do the same thing here. Justin Steele is on the mound for the Cubs. He has not quite regained his magic he had in 2023.

Take the Reds on Sunday.

St. Louis Cardinals over Philadelphia Phillies

Cardllies

Sunday June 2nd, 2024 at 19:07 PM | ESPN
Citizens Bank Park

We are going to finish our parlay with the final game of the week.

The St. Louis Cardinals upset winners over the Cardinals. This is going to be a tough series for the Cardinals, taking on Nola and Suarez before this.

But, the Cardinals are playing good baseball, and Lance Lynn takes the hill. Lynn has seen several big games before, and has the ability to close the door in those spots.

That’s what we like here. Lynn throws well, the Cardinals use some of their long ball power in Phily and win this game.

This is the final game of the parlay to complete the weekend!

2024 MLB Weekend Parlay Picks for Week 8 of the Season | Beat the Odds! Parlay Bets for the MLB Regular Season

2024 MLB Season | 155th edition of professional baseball in United States
Week 8: Friday, May 24th – Sunday, May 26th, 2024

Los Angeles Dodgers over Cincinnati Reds

James Paxton vs Graham Ashcraft

Friday May 24th, 2024 at 7:10 PM
Great American Ball Park

The first game of the five game weekend Major League Baseball parlay is the Los Angeles Dodgers. It’s hard to get too upset about getting the Dodgers in a parlay.

This is a team that is comfortably 8 games up in their division. The Dodgers get James Paxton on the mound in this game. The lefthander is 5-0 on the season.

He will take on Graham Ashcraft of Cincinnati. That is good news for the Dodgers hitting. Do not be surprised if the Dodgers tee off early and often. Paxton does enough to grab a win.

We are taking the Dodgers, and taking them by two or more runs here.

Baltimore Orioles over Chicago White Sox

Corbin Burnes vs Chris Flexen

Friday May 24th, 2024 at 7:40 PM | Apple TV+
Guaranteed Rate Field

This is the easy one on the five leg parlay. One of the best teams in Major League Baseball against one of the worst teams in Major League Baseball. Corbin Burnes goes against Chris Flexen.

Look for Burnes to bring his A game in this one as they go on the road and beat up on the White Sox in the first game of the series.

Baltimore downs the White Sox.

San Diego Padres over New York Yankees

Marcus Stroman vs Dylan Cease

Saturday May 25th, 2024 at 7:20 PM
PETCO Park

Dylan Cease gets a chance to go late Saturday night against the Yankees. The Padres have not hit well as of late, but Cease has been pretty strong. He has thrown 59 innings, and struck out 73 batters.

Look for him to keep the hard hitting Yankees bats off balance. We like Cease to grab a win, as the Padres score just enough off of Marcus Stroman and beat the Yankees Saturday night.

Take the Padres as the middle game of our five leg parlay.

Houston Astros over Oakland Athletics

Framber Valdez vs JP Sears

Saturday May 25th, 2024 at 4:07 PM
Oakland Coliseum

The Houston Astros have started playing better baseball as of late. The Astros won 8 out of 10, and are moving close and closer to the top of the American League West.

On the other side, Oakland has done the opposite. The Athletics started well, but have dropped 8 out of their last 10 and falling further down the standings. This game features lefthander Framber Valdez against JP Sears.

Valdez has nasty stuff, and has shown it a few times this season. It is a hot or cold Valdez. Look for him to be hot in this game, as he slows down and limits the Oakland offense.

Take the Astros.

Seattle Mariners over Washington Nationals

Bryan Woo vs Mitchell Parker

Sunday May 26th, 2024 at 1:35 PM
Nationals Park

Our final game of the parlay comes Sunday afternoon. We are taking a road team here. Byt Bryan Woo goes for Seattle, and has been pretty effective since he has returned from injury.

Wood is 2-0 on the season, and allowed just 1 earned run in 15.2 innings so far. The Mariners are in first place, and would love to keep extending that with the defending champion Rangers struggling behind them.

Seattle wraps up the weekend beating Mitchell Parker and the Washington Nationals in this one.

2024 MLB Season | 155th edition of professional baseball in United States
Week 7: Friday, May 17th – Sunday, May 19th, 2024

Atlanta Braves over San Diego Padres

Matt Waldron vs Max Fried

Friday May 17th, 2024 at 7:20 PM
Csdfsdfsdfsdield

This game features Max Fried of the Atlanta Braves and Matt Waldron of the San Diego Padres. The Braves remain at home, and have been playing good baseball. Their bats are starting to come around. This would not be a surprise if this was a potential postseason matchup. The Padres are going to have a hard time chasing down the Dodgers down in the National League West, but a wildcard spot is definitely possible. For this game, and the first of our parlay, we like Fried to contain the San Diego bats and win this game for the Braves. Take Atlanta over San Diego.

Houston Astros over Milwaukee Brewers

Freddy Peralta vs Hunter Brown

Friday May 17th, 2024 at 8:10 PM +
Csdfsdfsdfsdield

A really good pitching matchup here. The Houston Astros will send veteran Justin Verlander to the mound against Freddy Peralta for the Brewers. The Astros are going to need to start playing better baseball soon if they want to get back into the American League West race. If they are going to start their better play, no one to get them started like Verlander. Look for the veteran righthander to make it a clean sweep of the day for our parlay with an Astros win over the Brewers on Friday night.

Arizona Diamondbacks over Detroit Tigers

Jack Flaherty vs Zac Gallen

Saturday May 18th, 2024 at 8:10 PM +
Csdfsdfsdfsdield

As we move to Saturday, this is the first of two games we like. This is a great pitching matchup with Jack Flaherty for the Tigers and Zac Gallen for the Diamondbacks. Arizona is at home, and Gallen can be deadly. Detroit does not hit super well, and being on the road in the desert is not a great thing. Look for the Diamondbacks to take advantage of that and win this game on Saturday. This would be our third win of the five leg parlay.

Los Angeles Dodgers over Cincinnati Reds

Frankie Montas vs James Paxton

Saturday May 18th, 2024 at 10:10 PM +
Csdfsdfsdfsdield

Our second game on Saturday is another one we really like. Walker Buehler and the Los Angeles Dodgers go against Graham Ashcraft and the Cincinnati Reds. The Reds are riding on really hard times right now. This is what the Dodgers do. They just find ways to win, win and win, and they all pile up, and the next thing you know they are at 100. This is one of those wins, as Buehler does his job, and the bats get to the Reds pitching. This would be our fourth win of the five leg parlay.

New York Yankees over Chicago White Sox

Chris Flexen vs Carlos Rodon

Sunday May 19th, 2024 at 1:35 PM +
Csdfsdfsdfsdield

The final game of the five leg parlay features the New York Yankees against one of the worst teams in all of Major League Baseball. This game is in the Bronx, too. Carlos Rodon is going for the Yankees. He is a former White Sox hurler. He goes against Chris Flexen. Flexen has not been great to start the season, and the White Sox struggle to score. Rodon does his job, and the bats do the rest. The New York Yankees win this game easily over the Chicago White Sox on Sunday.

Baltimore Orioles over Arizona Diamondbacks

Brandon Pfaadt vs Cole Irvin

Friday May 10th, 2024 at 7:05 PM | Apple TV+
Oriole Park at Camden Yards

Brandon Pfaadt has struggled a bit to start the season for Arizona. He will get a Baltimore offense that can strike early and strike often. We like the Orioles bats to come alive with a win in this game. Baltimore is one of the best teams in all of Major League Baseball, and they will show that with this weekend series win. The first bet to make in our five team parlay on Friday is the Baltimore Orioles over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Toronto Blue Jays over Minnesota Twins

Simeon Woods Richardson vs Kevin Gausman

Saturday May 11th, 2024 at 3:07 PM
Rogers Centre

Kevin Gausman is ready to round the corner as the elite starting pitcher that the Toronto Blue Jays need him to be. He gets a Minnesota offense that was hot in their latest winning streak. This is the first game of the day on Saturday, and we are ready to get our day started with the Blue Jays offense getting some runs. Minnesota throws Simeon Woods Richardson in this game. Look for an assault of Toronto bats. The Blue Jays win.

Cleveland Guardians over Chicago White Sox

Triston McKenzie vs Mike Clevinger

Saturday May 11th, 2024 at 7:10 PM
Guaranteed Rate Field

Divisional rivalry game here. Taking the road team. But, it’s not all that big a deal to bet on the road team, when the team at home is the worst in all of baseball. Mike Clevinger goes for the White Sox, and will face his former organization. The problem is – the White Sox don’t have enough bats to support him. We love the stuff that Triston McKenzie brings to the mound. We like a low scoring game here, but in the end, the Guardians grab our second Saturday win in the parlay.

Philadelphia Phillies over Miami Marlins

Zack Wheeler vs Braxton Garrett

Sunday May 12th, 2024 at 6:40 PM +
loanDepot park

The Miami Marlins have not announced who they are going to start in this game. But, not sure there is a starting pitcher in that rotation that is going to win this game. Zack Wheeler goes for the Phillies, and he is built to shut down the Miami offense. Wheeler has nasty stuff, and continues to lead the Phillies staff along with Aaron Nola. The Phillies have emerged into one of the best teams in Major League Baseball. Our first win on Sunday is going to come from Philadelphia over Miami,

Atlanta Braves over New York Mets

Bryce Elder vs Luis Severino

Sunday May 12th, 2024 at 7:00 PM +
Citi Field

We may as well have the weekend parlay make us sweat the entire weekend. After the first four wins, we have Sunday Night Baseball as our final game. It’s do or die. The Atlanta Braves, one of the best teams in all of baseball, is our pick here. Sure, the Braves are on the road, and sure the Braves are playing a rivalry game – but Atlanta wins this game. Max Fried slows down the Mets lineup, and the Atlanta bats get to Sean Manaea. The Mets had a good start to the week with wins in St. Louis, but the week ends with a Sunday Night Baseball loss to the Braves.

Get ready to maximize your weekend excitement with our top-tier MLB Parlay Picks exclusively from MyBookie. With every game, every pitch, and every inning, elevate your betting game for a winning streak like never before!

2024 MLB Weekend Parlay Picks for Week 6 of the Season | Beat the Odds! Parlay Bets for the MLB Regular Season

2024 MLB Season | 155th edition of professional baseball in United States
Week 6: Friday, May 3rd – Sunday, May 5th, 2024

Philadelphia Phillies over San Francisco Giants

Jordan Hicks vs Aaron Nola

Friday May 3rd, 2024 at 6:40 PM | Apple TV+
PNC Park

To start the parlay, we are going with one play on Friday night. This is the Philadelphia Phillies going on the road and beating the San Francisco Giants. Because they are on the road, they are going to be better odds for us. But, Aaron Nola is one of the best pitchers in the National League. While his numbers may not always show that, his stuff is nasty. We like Nola to take down a pretty weak hitting Giants team on Friday. Take the Phillies over the Giants on Friday to start our parlay.

Los Angeles Angels over Cleveland Guardians

Reid Detmers vs Ben Lively

Saturday May 4th, 2024 at 6:10 PM
Progressive Field

The first game on Saturday we like features Reid Detmers and the Los Angeles Angels. Detmers has been the Angels ace for the most part this season. He will face a Cleveland offense that has started the season hot. Ben Lively goes for the Guardians. Lively has been good, but regression is coming. We like the Angels bats to get to Lively, and Detmers have a day on the mound. The first win on Saturday comes from the Angels over the Guardians.

Oakland Athletics over Miami Marlins

Trevor Rogers vs Paul Blackburn

Saturday May 4th, 2024 at 4:07 PM
Oakland Coliseum

Paul Blackburn gets the nod for Oakland on Saturday. He and the Athletics are going to be part of our parlay. It’s the second winner on Saturday. Blackburn has thrown 35 innings, and has a 2-1 mark and a 3.34. He will face a fairly light hitting Marlins team. Oakland has been better than many anticipated, while the Marlins have been dreadful. We will take Oakland to down Miami on Saturday.

Chicago White Sox over St. Louis Cardinals

Garrett Crochet vs Steven Matz

Sunday May 5th, 2024 at 2:15 PM
Busch Stadium

The White Sox get to send one of their best starting pitchers to the mound in this game. Garrett Crochet has not been great, but is the White Sox best opportunity for a clean outing. He did it last time, as he went 5 innings, and allowed 2 hits and 2 runs. Crochet gets a St. Louis’ offense that is very hit or miss. They strike out a ton, and have had a hard time hitting the ball out of the ballpark. The White Sox finish the weekend off with a win in St. Louis.

Atlanta Braves over Los Angeles Dodgers

Max Fried vs James Paxton

Sunday May 5th, 2024 at 4:10 PM
Dodger Stadium

The final game of our five team parlay is the Atlanta Braves over the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is very likely the best two teams in the National League. It’s hard to bet against the Los Angeles Dodgers, but this is the Atlanta Braves we are talking about. This is Max Fried and his lefthand going up against James Paxton. A battle of lefthanders. Look for the Braves to get to Paxton, while Fried slows down the Dodgers bats. We like the Atlanta Braves to finish the five leg parlay with a win on Sunday over the Dodgers.

The Major League Baseball weekend is arriving, and it is time for us to put together another weekend parlay of picks. We are too early for betting spreads or odds, but we have a parlay of five games over the weekend to match together for a winning parlay bet. Here is our Major League Baseball weekend parlay picks:

Looking for MLB Parlay Picks? MyBookie offers the ultimate 5 Team Parlay for weekend action. Being a Parlay, you know that the payout will be interesting, just check the SU odds and leave the spots open as the weekend moves on. Here they are:

Tampa Bay Rays over Chicago White Sox

Zach Eflin vs Undecided

Friday April 26th, 2024 at 7:40 PM | Apple TV+
Guaranteed Rate Field

The first game of our parlay features the Tampa Bay Rays over the Chicago White Sox. This is a battle of two teams that both have struggled a little. Tampa Bay is at the bottom of the American League East, despite their .500 season so far. For the Chicago White Sox, they have been the worst team in Major League Baseball. It will be hard for people to bet on the Chicago White Sox. But, outside of how poor they are – the Rays have veteran Zach Efllin going here. The hard throwing right hander is due for a solid outing in Chicago. We like Eflin and the Rays to grab the first win of the parlay.

San Francisco Giants over Pittsburgh Pirates

Jared Jones vs Jordan Hicks

Saturday April 27th, 2024 at 9:05 PM
Oracle Park

Jordan Hicks goes for the San Francisco Giants. He is plenty familiar with Pittsburgh from his time in St. Louis. His stuff has been good, as he is making his sixth start of the season. He is 2-0 with a 1.61. We like him as he goes against Jared Jones of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This game is in the bay area, which gives the Giants an advantage against a young, inexperienced Pittsburgh team. Our first game on Saturday in our five game parlay that we like is the Giants at home over the Pirates.

Kansas City Royals over Detroit Tigers

Brady Singer vs Casey Mize

Saturday April 27th, 2024 at 6:10 PM
Comerica Park

Saturday April 27th, 2024

Brady Singer and the Kansas City Royals are our second team on Saturday in our five team parlay. Singer has been fun to watch pitch with five starts, and a 2-1 record. Singer has struck out 28 batters in 29.1 innings. Both these teams are both fighting for second place behind Cleveland in the American League Central. The Tigers will send Casey Mize. Mize has been solid, but in a game between these two teams, we like Singer a little more. The Royals beat the Tigers in Detroit on Saturday.

Oakland Athletics over Baltimore Orioles

Paul Blackburn vs Albert Suarez

Sunday April 28th, 2024 at 1:35 PM | ESPN
Oriole Park at Camden Yards

It is not very often you get to bet on the Oakland Athletics. This will be a fun one to follow on Sunday after winning the first three games of the parlay. You are asking for Oakland to down one of the best teams in baseball; Baltimore. But, we like Paul Blackburn here. Blackburn has been fun to watch this season, with a 2-0 record and a 1.08 earned run average. Blackburn is not giving up many runs, and the Orioles offense will find a way to figure out Albert Suarez of Baltimore. We like Oakland over Baltimore here.

Boston Red Sox over Chicago Cubs

Jordan Wicks vs Tanner Houck

Sunday April 28th, 2024 at 6:40 PM | ESPN
Fenway Park

The Sunday Night Baseball game. The Chicago Cubs do not have their starting pitcher announced yet. Many project it to be Jordan Wicks, as Kyle Hendricks was put on the injured reserve. But, the biggest key here is Tanner Houck and his right arm. We like Houck to give a good outing on Sunday Night Baseball. Take the Red Sox over the Cubs.

2024 MLB Season| 155th edition of professional baseball in United States

Pittsburgh Pirates over Boston Red Sox

MLB Odds: N/A
Brayan Bello vs Undecided

Friday April 19th, 2024 at 6:40 PM
PNC Park

Pittsburgh is in quite the National League Central battle, with all teams competing to start the first month of the season. But, in this one, we like Mitch Keller and his ability to strike batters out, and keep opponents off the scoreboard. Boston has been hit or miss on the offensive side, and to start our parlay, we are going with miss. Take the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday to get us going!

Arizona Diamondbacks over San Francisco Giants

MLB Odds: N/A
Jordan Montgomery vs Blake Snell

Friday April 19th, 2024 at 10:15 PM | Apple TV+
Oracle Park

The first of two games on Saturday features Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Gallen is one of the best pitchers in all of Major League Baseball. Sure, the Giants are familiar with him, but Kyle Harrison and the Giants offense is no match in this one. We look for Gallen to continue cruising, and grab another win. The first bet for Saturday we like is the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Baltimore Orioles over Kansas City Royals

MLB Odds: N/A
Corbin Burnes vs Cole Ragans

Saturday April 20th, 2024 at 7:10 PM
Kauffman Stadium

We get to Saturday evening, and Corbin Burnes gets another shot at the Kansas City Royals. These two teams have already met, and the Royals touched up Burnes a little the first time. We do not expect that to be the case this time. Hats off to Kansas City for competing early in the season. But, this is a Cy Young caliber pitcher for Baltimore. We are taking the Orioles over the Royals on Saturday.

Philadelphia Phillies over Chicago White Sox

MLB Odds: N/A
Nick Nastrini vs Aaron Nola

Sunday April 21st, 2024 at 6:05 PM
Citizens Bank Park

When we move to Sunday with three perfect picks down and two to go, we will start with one of the early games on Sunday. The Chicago White Sox have been a complete dumpster fire, and not sure any signs are pointing at them getting any better. This team is going to lose 100+ games. On Sunday they get to face hard throwing Aaron Nola. Nola keeps the White Sox hitters guessing and throws a gem. The Phillies take down the White Sox on Sunday.

St. Louis Cardinals over Milwaukee Brewers

MLB Odds: N/A
Colin Rea vs Sonny Gray

Sunday April 21st, 2024 at 2:15 PM
Busch Stadium

The final game of our five team parlay goes to St. Louis on Sunday. A pair of National League Central divisional rivals. The Brewers started hot, but have slowed down as of late. St. Louis is quietly looking to get back into contention. The Cardinals are hoping as the weather heats up, so do their bats. Pitching has been solid for St. Louis. They get Sonny Gray in this game. This is a type of game they got Gray for. Beat the divisional rivals. We like the Cardinals to beat the Brewers on Sunday afternoon.

Toronto Blue Jays runline over Colorado Rockies

Friday April 12th, 2024 at 27:07 PM | ESPN+
Rogers Centre

The Colorado Rockies have gotten off to a woeful start in 2024. The Rockies pitching is one the worst in all of Major League Baseball. The Rockies are sending Ryan Feltner to the mound here. While he has not been terrible. The Blue Jays are going to be ready to feast off him. For Toronto, Kevin Gausman goes. Gausman was not good in his last start, as he recorded just 4 outs in the game. We like Gausman to bounce back a bit, but the main story here is the Toronto offense. The Blue Jays pound out a bunch of runs and start the parlay off with a Friday blowout win.

Detroit Tigers over Minnesota Twins

Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 1:10 PM | ESPN+
Comerica Park

Jack Flaherty goes for the Detroit Tigers. He was solid in his first game, but not great in Game 2. We expect a better outing from the former Cardinals right hander here. He should be able to get through six innings here, and with the Twins inability to hit right now, we like their chances. The Twins are sending Bailey Ober to the mound. He was horrendous in his opener, but much better in Game 2. We like Detroit at home to score a bit off Ober, and Flaherty keep the Twins offense down. Take Detroit to win the first game of the day on Saturday and keep the parlay going!

San Francisco Giants over Tampa Bay Rays

Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 2:20 PM | ESPN+ Tropicana Field

Another game on Saturday. We like Logan Webb in this one. He will face off against Ryan Pepiot of the Tampa Bay Rays.  Webb has made three starts, and thrown over 16 innings. He has yet to grab a win, allowing 9 runs so far. The Tampa Bay bats are what the doctor ordered for Webb though! This could be a low scoring game, and one we have to sweat a bit, but the Giants get the job done at home.

Baltimore Orioles over Milwaukee Brewers

Sunday April 14th, 2024 at 2:20 PM | ESPN+
Tropicana Field

This is a game that many have had circled on their schedules for awhile. Corbin Burnes gets a chance to pitch against his old team. Now, this game is in Baltimore, so the fans in Milwaukee have to settle from afar. Burnes has been good with his new team, and the Orioles are starting to find their stride a bit. Jackson Holliday is going to be up for the big club this weekend, and the excitement will be monstrous. Look for the Orioles to grab us a win in this five leg parlay on the final day.

Arizona Diamondbacks over St. Louis Cardinals

Sunday April 14th, 2024 at 2:20 PM | ESPN+
Chase Field

The final game on the parlay comes down to Zac Gallen and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Gallen has been tremendous to start the season. He is 2-0 on the season, and has 19 strikeouts in 16 innings. He will face his former franchise, and a Cardinals team that tends to strikeout a bunch. St. Louis will counter with Miles Mikolas. Mikolas is 1-1 on the season with a 4.77 earned run average. After opening day, he has not been that bad for the Cardinals, but has not seen a ton of run production. Look for more of the same here, as Arizona grabs a Sunday win at home.

MLB 5 Team Paylay in the Making

Los Angeles Dodgers over Chicago Cubs

Friday April 5th, 2024 at 2:20 PM | ESPN+

The first game in the five leg parlay is Friday night. This is the first of three on Friday. The Los Angeles Dodgers are going to be the class of the National League. They will be even tougher if they get starts from Bobby Miller like he got in his opener. Miller was electric. He will face the Cubs at cold and windy Wrigley Field. Look for Miller to keep the ball down, and get the strikeout pitch working. Our first leg of the parlay is the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday over the Chicago Cubs.

New York Yankees over Toronto Blue Jays

Friday April 5th, 2024 at 6:40 PM | Apple TV+

The second leg of the parlay, also on Friday, is the New York Yankees beating the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. Marcus Stroman gets a chance to go for the Yankees. He was sharp in his first start, as he went six scoreless innings against the Astros. Now he gets another good offensive team, but another team that is streaky. We like Stroman to keep throwing well and come away with his second win here. Take the Yankees on Friday in Toronto.

San Francisco Giants over San Diego Padres

Friday April 5th, 2024 at 4:35 PM

The final game for Friday features a pair of National League West teams. A good pitching matchup with Dylan Cease against Jordan Hicks. Hicks was great in his first start for the Giants. Hicks is a big time strikeout pitcher, and that bodes well against a team in San Diego that has been known to strike out. Dylan Cease goes for the Padres, but in this game, Hicks is the story. He picks up the win and the Giants down the Padres.

Atlanta Braves over Arizona Diamondbacks

Saturday April 6th, 2024 at 7:20 PM

The one game on Saturday for the five leg parlay is in the evening. It is Chris Sale and the Atlanta Braves beating up on the Arizona Diamondbacks. Atlanta was none too pleased about not getting to the World Series a season ago, and will want to make a statement in this series. This is all Atlanta offense against Brandon Pfaaft and the Diamondbacks. Atlanta slugs their way to a win on Saturday.

Texas Rangers over Houston Astros

Sunday April 7th, 2024 at 7:00 PM | ESPN

The final game in our five leg parlay for Major League Baseball this weekend is the Sunday Night Baseball game. Last week the Dodgers came from behind to beat the Cardinals. This time, we get Ronel Blanco coming off his no hitter in his first start of the season. He will face Dane Dunning from the Rangers. Texas is going to figure some things out on Blanco. It is tough to go that many pitches early in the season. The Rangers pounce early and often and win this one on Sunday!

Great news for the Philadelphia Phillies as they will welcome back two-time NL MVP Bryce Harper from a broken wrist on Friday. He has been out two months and should assure the Phils earn a Wild-Card spot. No plays on the Phillies this weekend, but here are two others for your MLB betting.

Winning MLB Parlay Picks for the Weekend Action

Braves at Cardinals, Saturday

This could be a playoff preview as both are going to make it – the Braves either as NL East champions or a Wild-Card team and the Cardinals most likely as NL Central champions.

Entering this series (Friday), the Braves had won nine straight road games, the longest such away streak for the franchise since it won a team-record 13-straight road games July 29-August 22 of last season. That streak included sweeping a nine-game road trip through Washington (three games), Miami (three games) and Baltimore (three games), August 13-August 22. Atlanta is now 36-24 away from Truist Park this season. Only the Dodgers are better.

The Braves are also 20-10 vs. the NL Central this season after they went 22-12 in 2021. Since 2018, when the Braves started a string of four consecutive division titles, Atlanta is 80-49 against the NL Central, the best record of any NL team.

It’s veteran right-hander Charlie Morton (6-5, 3.99 ERA) on the mound Saturday. Morton allowed two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings against Houston last Sunday. He struck out 11 batters and did not factor in the decision. Morton was locked into a duel with Jose Urquidy, and Atlanta wasn’t able to put together enough offense in the loss. The only damage against Morton was Yordan Alvarez’s two-run single in the third frame. Morton has racked up 118 strikeouts through 86 innings since the start of June, good for a 12.3 K/9. On the year, he’s sporting a 164:47 K:BB with a 3.99 ERA.

Lefty Jordan Montgomery (7-3), a trade acquisition from the Yankees, starts for the Cards. Montgomery (7-3) earned the win with a complete-game shutout against the Cubs on Monday. He allowed only one hit, didn’t walk any batters and struck out seven. Montgomery faced only one batter above the minimum in the victory, with a Christopher Morel double in the third inning accounting for the only baserunner against him. He completed nine innings on only 99 pitches, 65 of which were strikes, and racked up 14 swings-and-misses. Montgomery is 4-0 since the trade from New York, allowing only one run over 25.2 innings while posting a 24:3 K:BB.

Guardians at Mariners, Sunday

Mariners manager Scott Servais said he’s hopeful of getting Sam Haggerty back in the lineup this weekend. Haggerty did come off the bench for defensive purposes late in Wednesday’s loss to the Nationals but he hasn’t started a game in nearly a week due to an isolated deltoid strain in his left shoulder. The 28-year-old was enjoying a tremendous second half before he suffered that injury.

First baseman Ty France was removed from Thursday’s game against the Guardians in the second inning due to an apparent injury. France flied out to left field in his only plate appearance on the afternoon. He looked to be in quite a bit of discomfort after stretching for a ball at first base during the top half of the second inning, then was seen heading into the clubhouse with the training staff. Monitor that. France was great in the first half of the season but has really been struggling.

Earlier this week, AL Rookie of the Year favorite Julio Rodríguez hit his 20th home run of the season to record the 10th individual season in Mariners history with 20+ home runs and 20+ stolen bases. Rodriguez became just the 9th player in MLB history to reach the 20/20 club at age 21-or-younger, joining Vada Pinson (2x, 1959-60), Orlando Cepeda (1959), César Cedeño (1972), Alex Rodriguez (1997), Andruw Jones (1998), Justin Upton (2009), Mike Trout (2x, 2012-13) and Ronald Acuña Jr. (2019). Julio is the 11th rookie to record a 20/20 season.

Reigning AL Cy Young winner Robbie Ray (10-8) is scheduled to start here. Ray yielded one run on two hits over 6 2/3 innings in Tuesday’s 4-2 win over the Nationals. Ray was in complete command and had allowed just one hit through six innings before Joey Meneses knocked him for a solo homer to lead off the seventh. Rays has a 3.75 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 175/53 K/BB ratio (25 starts; 148 2/3 innings).

Cleveland counters with Aaron Civale (2-5). Civale allowed a run on four hits, two walks and a hit batter while striking out four in 4.2 innings, taking a no-decision versus the Padres on Tuesday. Civale wasn’t very efficient, throwing just 50 of 95 pitches for strikes. He was relieved by Nick Sandlin for the final out of the fifth inning, denying Civale a chance at his first win since May 20. The right-hander has allowed four runs across 14.2 innings through three starts since returning from a wrist injury. He has a 5.37 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 70:18 K:BB through 68.2 innings across 15 starts overall.

While it doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, the Los Angeles Angels will welcome back three-time AL MVP on Friday in Detroit. He has been out since mid-July with an injury. We don’t have an opinion on that game but recommend parlaying picks on the following three. Let’s look at the preview for your betting MLB.

Winning MLB Parlay Picks for the Weekend Action

Blue Jays at Yankees, Saturday

While Yankees ace Gerrit Cole has been inconsistent at times this season, he has been better at home and is clearly a superior pitcher to Saturday’s Blue Jays starter, Mitch White.

Cole (9-5) allowed one run on five hits and two walks over six innings Monday, striking out six and taking a loss against the Rays. Cole worked through three scoreless frames before yielding a run in the fourth. Unfortunately for him, the Yankees were shut out, so he was tagged with a loss. Since his last win July 17, Cole is 0-3 with a 4.35 ERA over his last five starts. With Monday’s outing, he lowered his season ERA to 3.30 alongside a 184:35 K:BB across 144.1 frames. Cole called out his offense for a lack of support after.

The Jays’ White, acquired at the deadline from the Dodgers, is replacing Yusei Kikuchi in the Blue Jays’ rotation moving forward. Kikuchi has struggled over the course of the season but his last two starts have been abysmal, as he has allowed six walks, eight earned runs, and four home runs off of 10 hits through 8.1 innings combined

White appeared headed for the bullpen with Ross Stripling (hip) returning from the injured list Wednesday, but he’ll instead stick in the rotation with Kikuchi demoted to a relief role. White has given up four earned runs with a 5:4 K:BB over 9.1 frames in two starts since being acquired by Toronto, and he has a 3.72 ERA and 1.27 WHIP for the season.

Long-term, White admitted that he would like an opportunity to prove himself as a starter for the Blue Jays, but is comfortable playing whichever role gives the team the best chance at success.

“It’s great to help the team win,” White said. “But, gun to my head, I’d say yeah, I’d prefer to start. I like being able to eat innings and cover innings for the pen and do that.”

Nationals at Padres, Sunday

The worst pitcher in baseball right now without question is Washington’s Patrick Corbin (4-16, 6.96), who is making $23 million this year, $24 million in 2023 and a whopping $35 million in 2024. The Nats couldn’t give him away. He could become the first 20-game loser in years.

Corbin allowed four runs over six innings in a no-decision versus the Cubs on Tuesday. It doesn’t go down as a quality start, but Corbin entered with a 12.46 ERA over his last six starts and didn’t get through the first inning his last time out, so it was improvement. He was pitching on nine days of rest, as the Nationals had skipped his last turn following his previous debacle.

It’s not just that this has been the worst performance of Corbin’s career. It’s not just that it is the worst performance this year in MLB. It’s that it is shaping up to be one of the worst pitching performances in history.

“I want to leave this year with a positive moving forward to next year,” Manager Dave Martinez said of Corbin. “Because, regardless of what anyone thinks, he’s going to be one of our starters next year and the year after that.”

It’s Sean Manaea (6-6, 4.83 ERA for the Padres, and he hasn’t been great but he’s still miles better than Corbin. Manaea allowed three runs on four hits and a walk, striking six in four innings in a 4-3 loss Tuesday in Miami. He did not factor into the decision. Nick Fortes tagged Manaea with solo homers in the second and fourth innings. The lefty was removed from the game after four innings, having tossed 64 pitches. It was his fifth straight outing of 83 pitches or fewer. Since the All-Star break, he has an 8.06 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and seven homers allowed in 22.1 innings across five outings.

“[Manaea] had a bit of a tired arm out there today,” Manager Bob Melvin said. “Certain times over the course of the season I gotta identify that it’s not the best stuff out there. It’s been a long year for him, so I wanted to give him a little bit of a break.”

Previous Betting News

It’s going to be another great weekend of baseball action. We’ve taken the liberty of looking ahead at the schedule for the upcoming weekend. We’ve found a couple of games that we think you can put into a parlay and be successful. Let’s take a look at each of those two games, and we’ll give you our MLB Betting predictions for each. Hopefully, you can turn our advice into a little extra cash.

Weekend Baseball Predictions and Parlay Picks | MLB Betting

Problems in the Windy City

What a four-game series we’re going to see this weekend, as the New York Yankees come to the Windy City to take on the Chicago White Sox. The Yankees head into Wednesday night’s action with a 21-8 record, winning eight of their last 10. The White Sox have also been on a hot streak as of late, also winning eight of their last 10.

We really like the Yankees in Friday night’s game. There are two reasons we like the Yankees: Reason #1 is Gerrit Cole, and Reason #2 is Dallas Keuchel. Let’s talk about Cole first. Cole last pitched on Sunday against the Texas Rangers. He went 6 ⅓ innings, giving up five hits and one run, while striking out 10. In his last 19 innings pitched, he’s struck out 25. The White Sox have been hitting the ball well lately, but they are prone to striking out a lot, so this bodes well for the Yankees.

Now on to Reason #2, Dallas Keuchel. Even though he pitched well in his last outing against Boston, the veteran hurler has had a rough season. He has a 6.86 ERA and a 2.10 WHIP this season. With a powerful lineup like New York’s, we predict problems for Keuchel.

While this should be a very competitive series, we like the Yankees to win on Friday night.

Pitcher’s Duel in Hollywood

The Philadelphia Phillies head to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers this weekend. Saturday’s pitching matchup has caught our betting eye. The Dodgers will send Walker Buehler to the mound, while the Phillies will counter with Ranger Suarez. Who is Ranger Suarez you may ask? Well, Suarez has been on his game as of late. He is 3-1 on the season with a 3.68 ERA. In his last outing, he tossed six shutout innings against the Seattle Mariners. He struck out seven and earned his third victory of the season. He has great stuff, and he can entice batters to swing at his off-speed pitches.

For the Dodgers, Walker Buehler will toe the rubber. Buehler has been tremendous this season, coming into this one with a 4-1 record. Buehler last pitched on Sunday, limiting the Chicago Cubs to one run in his seven innings. He earned the victory, allowing four hits, and striking out seven. He enters Saturday’s game with a 1.96 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.

Both of these teams have very strong lineups, but we think that the pitchers will get the best of this one. We suggest taking the under in this game, as we don’t see a lot of runs being scored.

Previous Betting News

Cardinals DH Albert Pujols is seven home runs away from his 700th career home run, which would land him among Barry Bonds, Henry Aaron and Babe Ruth as the only players to reach the milestone. He doesn’t start all that often against right-handers so he might not here.

Previous Betting News

Can the New York Yankees cool off the red-hot Boston Red Sox when they meet in their intriguing AL East showdown on Saturday? Will the Cleveland Indians snap out of the funk they’ve been in to damage the Tampa Bay Rays’ legitimate playoff hopes? Last but not least in MLB betting, why are the lowly Philadelphia Phillies looking like such a great pick in their NL East divisional matchup against the New York Mets? If you want to know the answer to each of the aforementioned questions and you’re looking for some MLB odds and lines to bet on for this Saturday, I’ve got a trio of MLB parlay picks that you can use as part of my value-packed parlay while simultaneously answering each of the aforementioned questions. Now, let’s get down to business.

MLB Parlay Picks for Weekend Betting Action – August 12th

Boston Red Sox (65-49) at New York Yankees (60-53)

When: Saturday, August 12, 4:05 PM ET
Where: Yankee Stadium
TV: FS-1, YES
Probable Pitchers: Boston – Drew Pomeranz – L (11-4, 3.36 ERA) / NY Yankees – Luis Severino – R (9-4, 2.91 ERA)
MLB Betting Odds: TBA

Analysis: The first thing you need to know about this matchup is that, heading into Friday, Boston had won eight straight games and nine of their last 10 games overall. Conversely, New York lost its last contest to drop to 4-6 over their last 10 games.

Boston lefty Drew Pomeranz struck out eight batters in 6.1 innings against the Chicago White Sox in his last start and has been super consistent in tossing at least six innings in eight of his last 10 starts, while compiling a stellar 2.24 ERA over that span.

Yankees’ right-hander Luis Severino has won four straight starts and limited Cleveland to two runs, one earned, on two hits in 6.2 innings in his last start while giving up a paltry two earned runs over his last 25.2 innings for a 0.70 ERA.

Boston is just 1-6 in their last seven games against the Yankees when they play in the Big Apple and 3-9 in the last dozen meetings overall. New York is the pick to get the win, mostly because they’re at home and Luis Severino is pitching like a legitimate staff ace!

MLB Parlay Pick: Yankees 4 Red Sox 2

Cleveland Indians (60-52) at Tampa Bay Rays (59-57)

When: Saturday, August 12, 6:10 PM ET
Where: Tropicana Field
TV: SportsTime Ohio, FOX Sports Sun
Probable Pitchers: Cleveland – Mike Clevinger – R (5-4, 4.00 ERA) / Tampa Bay – Chris Archer – R (8-6, 3.80 ERA)
MLB Betting Odds: TBA

Analysis: The Indians had lost two straight and a whopping seven of their last 10 games heading into Friday night while Tampa Bay recorded a win in their last contest to improve to 5-5 over their last 10 games.

Cleveland right-hander Mike Clevinger will make his first start since July 31 after being moved to the bullpen after getting smacked around for five runs in three innings against Boston in his last start.

How Has the Rays’ Chris Archer Been Pitching Lately?

Tampa Bay right-hander Chris Archer limited Milwaukee to one earned run on three hits in six innings of a 2-1 win in his last start and has limited the opposition to two runs or less in three of his last five starts while allowing just one earned run twice during the stretch.

The Indians are 1-4 in their last five road games against a right-handed starter, 0-4 in their last four road games overall and 3-7 in Mike Clevinger’s last 10 starts against a team with a winning record.

Conversely, Tampa Bay is 5-2 in their last seven games against teams from the AL Central and 4-1 in Chris Archer’s last five home starts.

MLB Parlay Pick: Tampa Bay 6 Cleveland 2

New York Mets (51-61) at Philadelphia Phillies (42-70)

When: Saturday, August 12, 7:05 PM ET Where: Citizens Bank Park TV: NBC, WPIX Probable Pitchers: New York – Steven Matz – L (2-5, 5.77 ERA) / Philadelphia – Aaron Nola – R (8-7, 3.12 ERA) MLB Betting Odds: TBA

Analysis: The Philadelphia Phillies had lost six of their last 10 games heading into Friday night, but the Mets had been even worse in dropping seven of 10.

New York southpaw Steven Matz was smacked around for five earned runs on six hits in 5.1 innings of a dismal 8-0 loss against the incendiary Dodgers in his last start and has allowed at least five runs in four of his last six starts overall.

On the flip side of the coin, Philadelphia right-hander Aaron Nola has been absolutely phenomenal since making a start on June 22 and has not allowed more than two earned runs in an insane nine straight starts while tossing at least six innings in every outing and at least seven innings in five of those starts.

Despite his team’s struggles this season, Nola has compiled a stellar 5-2 record with a jaw-dropping 1.76 ERA in his past nine starts while striking out 70 over his last 61.1 innings.

The Mets are 0-4 in Matz’s last four road starts while Philadelphia has gone 5-1 in their last six home games and 4-1 in Aaron Nola’s last five home starts. For this matchup, take the Phils to as they will win with ease!

MLB Parlay Pick:

Philadelphia 6 NY Mets 2

So I have trivia question for you: What shortstop has the most home runs in L.A. Dodgers history. Give up? It’s a trick question of sorts. On Wednesday, Corey Seager hit his 44 th homer while playing shortstop for the Dodgers. That’s already a record in Seager’s second year! How is that possible? It had been held Rafael Furcal, who hit 43 while wearing Dodger blue. The record for the franchise, including Brooklyn, is Pee Wee Reese with 122. Here are three games I would place an MLB betting picks to parlay together on Saturday.

Winning MLB Betting Picks to Parlay On This Saturday

Texas Rangers at Tampa Bay Rays

When: 7:10 PM ET
Where: Tropicana
TV: MLB Extra Innings / FSSW (Texas) / FS1 (Tampa Bay)
Radio: 105.3 The Fan (Texas) / 95.3 FM (Tampa Bay)
MLB Betting Odds: TBA

The Rays start ace Chris Archer (7-5, 3.91). Archer allowed two runs on five hits with five walks and nine strikeouts in Sunday’s no-decision against the Angels. Archer issued no more than three free passes in any of his previous 10 starts but was able to successfully pitch around his control problems for the most part.

Despite logging his fourth consecutive quality start, Archer was positioned to take the loss until Logan Morrison tied the game with a two-run homer in the seventh. Though Archer has issued 10 free passes across 18 2/3 innings over his past three starts, control hasn’t been a significant problem for Archer this season (3.0 BB/9 rate).

The recent wildness has been largely offset by the 25 strikeouts he’s racked up in that time. He got a win against the Rangers in Arlington on May 31, the only time he faced them this season.

Who Will Kick Off Saturday for the Rangers?

Texas goes with Andrew Cashner (4-8, 3.58). He lost after giving up three runs on six hits (one homer) and two walks with three strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings Monday against the Orioles. Cashner held the O’s scoreless through five frames before giving up a run in the sixth and two in the seventh.

That continues a trend for the 30-year- old, who entered Monday allowing an .896 OPS to opponents the third time through the order. Cashner is 1-3 with a 4.76 ERA in his last four starts and 4-5 with a 4.28 ERA in his last nine. He is 2-6 with a 4.33 ERA in nine starts on the road.

Latest MLB Betting Trends

  • Rangers are 0-5 ATS in the last 5 games
  • Rangers are 0-5 SU in the last 5 games
  • The total went UNDER in 6 of Texas’s last 9 games
  • Rays are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 games
  • Rays are 6-2 SU in the last 8 games
  • The total went UNDER in 4 of Tampa Bay’s last 6 games

Boston Red Sox at LA Angels

When: 9:07 PM ET
Where: Angel Stadium of Anaheim
TV: MLB Extra Innings / NESN (Boston) / FS-W (LA)
Stream: MLB.tv
Radio: 103.7 FM (Boston) / KLAA 830 (LA)
MLB Betting Odds: TBA

The Red Sox go with lefty David Price (5-2, 3.39), who is rounding into form. Price tossed eight shutout innings and picked up his fifth victory of the season in last Sunday night;s victory over the Yankees. He allowed seven hits and posted an 8:0 K:BB in the contest.

Price cruised into the All-Star break by giving up just two earned runs in 12 innings over his first two starts in July, and he did himself one better in his first post-break outing.

After missing almost two months with an elbow injury and then getting off to a rocky start upon returning from the disabled list, Price has dominated to the tune of a 1.91 ERA, a 1.06 WHIP and a 34-to- 5 K/BB ratio in his past five starts (33 innings). Price has posted a 2.72 ERA against the Angels over their last five matchups dating back to 2014.

Who Will Take the Mound for LA?

The Halos go with JC Ramirez (8-8, 4.54). He lost after allowing four runs on eight hits (one homer) and one walk with five strikeouts over six innings last Saturday vs. the Rays. Ramirez got off to a promising start when he joined the Angels rotation for the first time in April, recording a 3.20 ERA with a 1.10 WHIP in his first nine starts.

However, the right-hander has faded over his past nine outings (6.04 ERA, 1.53 WHIP). The 28-year- old has recorded a 0.90 ERA over 10 innings in five career appearances against the Red Sox, including one start.

Atlanta Braves at LA Dodgers

When: 9:10 PM ET Where: Dodger Stadium TV: MLB Extra Innings / FSSO (Atlanta) / SportsNet LA (LA) Stream: MLB.tv Radio: 93.7 FM (Atlanta) / 570 LA Sports (LA) MLB Betting Odds: TBA

Will the Dodgers ever lose again? They are on pace to set an MLB record for wins. I won’t be picking a side in this one but the total. It’s Atlanta’s Julio Teheran (7-7, 4.69). Teheran allowed two runs on five hits and four walks while striking out five batters through six innings during Monday's loss to the Cubs.

In 10 starts at home this season, Teheran is 1-7 with a 7.05 ERA. Over the last 15 seasons (since 2003), three other players had at least seven losses and an ERA over 7.00 through their first 10 home starts of a season. The only other Braves pitcher to do so through his first 10 home starts of a season was Pascual Perez in 1985 (1-7, 7.36). However, Teheran ranks fifth in the NL with a 2.53 road ERA.

Who Will Pitch for the Dodgers on Saturday?

It’s lefty Rich Hill for rampaging L.A. Hill (6-4, 3.55) allowed just one run on five hits while striking out nine batters through five innings during Sunday's win over Miami. Hill induced five groundouts and threw 62 of his 94 pitches for strikes en route to his sixth win of the season.

Hill has now collected 44 strikeouts through just 31 innings over his past five starts, and he has surrendered only six runs during that dominant stretch. He hasn’t allowed more than three runs in a start since June 15 and has posted a 43-to- 6 K/BB ratio over his past 31 innings.

Expert MLB Betting Predictions for Saturday

My parlay pick is Rays on the moneyline, Red Sox on the moneyline and the under in Braves-Dodgers, with that total likely to be 8.5-9.

Previous Betting News

Those of you who love to wager on baseball will be getting ready to take a few days off with the All-Star Break now just a couple of days away. We all want to end the first half of the season on a high, though, which is why we have put together a few MLB parlay picks for the final weekend of the first half.

I am going with 3 picks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with hopes that the bankroll can get a nice little boost before the Home Run Derby rolls around. There are some big series being played this weekend, but I am going to try and spread things around a little as we go searching for winners. Let’s get this thing started and take a look at the updated baseball parlay picks here.

Winning MLB Parlay Picks for the Weekend Action (July 7th)

MLB Parlay Picks for Friday, July 7

The Washington Nationals lost the opening game of their series with the Atlanta Braves in rather controversial fashion, as fans were made to sit through a 3-hour rain delay without a drop of the wet stuff ever falling.

I think they will rebound nicely on Friday with Max Scherzer on the mound. He has been totally lights out this season, and is coming into this game boasting a sparkling 1.94 ERA. I like the Nats to win this one comfortably.

Washington Nationals Vs Atlanta Braves Trends

  • Washington is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games
  • The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Washington’s last 8 games at home
  • Washington is 5-11 ATS in its last 16 games at home
  • The total has gone OVER in 18 of Washington’s last 24 games when playing Atlanta
  • Washington is 4-2 SU in its last 6 games at home
  • The total has gone OVER in 10 of Washington’s last 11 games when playing at home against Atlanta
  • Washington is 1-7 ATS in its last 8 games when playing Atlanta
  • When playing Atlanta, Washington is 2-5 SU in its last 7 games
  • Washington is 1-4 ATS in its last 5 games when playing at home against Atlanta
  • When playing at home against Atlanta, Washington is 20-4 SU in its last 24 games

The Arizona Diamondbacks are coming off a crushing 3-game sweep at the hands of the LA Dodgers, but they will have a good chance to bounce back with a series against the Cincinnati Reds. They will be sending Zack Grienke to the mound on Friday, as their ace looks to go for his 3rd straight win, and 5th in his last 7 starts.

Let’s close out this parlay by going with a pick that I think we will get at a very good price. The Kansas City Royals will close out their first half on the road with an interleague series against the red-hot LA Dodgers. The Royals have enjoyed their interleague play this season, going 5-2 in those games, and I think they might just sneak the opening game in this series.

MLB Parlay Picks for Saturday, July 8

We have a really good weekend series on tap with the Milwaukee Brewers in the Big Apple to face the New York Yankees. The Brewers are closing out the first half on a high with 4-straight wins, and if they get the same sort of performance from Brent Suter as he delivered in his last start, then I think they will be able to come away with the win in this one.

There are a couple of different ways that you can approach the game between the Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday. The Astros have only lost 10 games on the road all season long, and you have to like them against the underperforming Jays. That said, we have a killer pitching match-up here, so it might be an idea to take the UNDER instead of a SU pick.

The Chicago Cubs are performing way below expectations this season, and have now gone 16 games without putting together back to back wins. That said, I think they can finish the first half on a high by winning this series against the Pirates. I particularly like them to win on Saturday with Jake Arrieta on the mound.

MLB Parlay Picks for Sunday, July 9

We have a great pitching duel on tap for Sunday with David Price and Chris Archer taking the mound when the Red Sox and Rays close out their 3-game series. This is one that screams UNDER, especially when you look at how well booth men have been pitching of late. As far as a straight up pick goes with this one, I like the Red Sox.

The Colorado Rockies are going through a tough run to close out the first half, and while you would like them to get back on track against the Chicago White Sox, they may actually be in trouble on Sunday. Carlos Rodon has been brilliant in his two starts this season, and I like him to confound the Rockies batters on the way to a White Sox win.

The Cleveland Indians are looking to finish the first half on top of the Central Division, and they are going to need to take care of the Detroit Tigers over the weekend to make that happen. They will meet on Sunday night in the final MLB game of the first half, and I like the Indians to close out with a win.
