The 2019 NBA Draft takes place this Thursday on June 20 at the Barclays Center in New York. Number of Duke Players in the Top 5 2019

Most mock drafts have two Duke players going in the Top 5. The Pelicans, no doubt, will draft Williamson first. The other player that figures to get drafted in the Top 5 is R.J. Barrett. Some NBA scouts have Barrett ranked higher than Williamson although we know where the Pelicans stand in that regard.

Barrett is supposed to go third to the New York Knicks. After Barrett, the next Duke player to go will be Cam Reddish. If Reddish can sneak into the Top 5, over 2 ½ would hit at nice odds. Is there a team that might draft Reddish in the Top 5? Not likely.

2019 NBA Draft Betting Pick: Under 2 ½

Number of Gonzaga Players in the Top 10 2019

This prop is somewhat more interesting because not a single Gonzaga player is projected to go in the Top 10. Some mock draft experts do predict that 6’ 9” forward Rui Hachimura goes to Charlotte at number 12. Hachimura might surprise, though. Not only is he 6’ 9”, but he weighs 234 pounds.

Not only that, but Hachimura skipped the NBA Combine and didn’t discuss any private workouts for teams. That could mean someone picking after 12 has promised to draft him. Or, it could mean someone picking before the Top 10 has promised to draft him. The odds are good enough on the over to say it’s a team in the Top 10. There’s also the chance that Brandon Clarke sneaks into the Top 10, making over an even stronger play.

2019 NBA Draft Betting Pick: Over 0 ½ +275

Number of Freshman Players in the Top 10 2019

Over looks like a lock with Barrett, Reddish, and Williamson all freshman and all figuring to go in the Top 10. Not only that, but Vanderbilt’s Darius Garland and North Carolina’s Coby White, also Top 10 locks, are freshman. That’s 5 frosh right there. Who is the sixth freshman? Probably Jaxson Hayes, the center from Texas, or Nassir Little, the small forward from UNC.

2019 NBA Draft Betting Pick: Over 5 ½

Number of International Players in the Top 10 2019

Over 0 ½ offers low odds because of how much French player Sekou Doumbouya has impressed. He’s got excellent defensive skills and should find a place in the Top 10 on Thursday. However, Doumbouya is the only international player getting any love for the Top 10. He could fall into the 11-15 range. Taking a shot on the under.

2019 NBA Draft Betting Pick: Under 0 ½ +455

Number of ACC Players in the Top 10 2019

Over 4 ½ -1950 offers no odds, but it’s hard to see this going under. Williamson, Barrett, and Reddish are close to being locks in the Top 10. Coby White is a possible lock while De’Andre Hunter, Virginia’s fantastic small forward, is also a lock. That’s 5. There’s also the chance that Nassir Little gets drafted in the Top 10.

2019 NBA Draft Betting Pick: Over 4 ½
